Louise Turner
Director of Music
Louise is an experienced singer and singing teacher with a thriving private teaching practice as well as giving lessons in schools and also teaching choral scholars at Oxford University. In recent years she has also been a vocal coach for residential courses for the National Youth Choir. As a soloist she has sung with many choral societies and orchestras across the UK and her concert and opera work have also taken her to France, Spain and the USA. She has been directing children’s choirs, chamber ensembles and adult choirs in many different settings, both secular and sacred for many years. She has been the Director of Music at St Paul’s Wokingham for over twenty years and in that time has seen the choir grow and flourish. She has conducted in many cathedrals in the UK, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Southwark, Canterbury, Bristol, Winchester and Chichester amongst others.
