Educational Grants from the Parish Rooms Trust
The Parish Rooms Trust awards financial assistance for educational purposes.`
This includes:
financial assistance, outfits, clothing, tools, technology, instruments or books to assist in pursuing a course of education (including music and the arts);
undertaking travel in furtherance of education, which would include school trips, residentials and trips to visit university open days;
preparation for entering a profession, trade or occupation on leaving school, university or other educational establishment.
Applicants must be under 25 and resident in the Parish or attend (or have attended) any school in the Parish of St Paul, Wokingham. (The parish roughly covers the north and west of the town of Wokingham.) They must be applied for by the individual or (if under 18) a parent or guardian. Applications must demonstrate a clear need for financial assistance and should supply as much evidence as possible, including a supporting letter from the educational establishment where that is appropriate.
