St Nicholas Emmbrook

St Nicholas meet at 11am each Sunday in the Village hall Emmbrook. You can get directions from where you live check on the map below
There’s car parking immediately outside the village hall and also up Commons Road opposite – please be considerate to the residents.

What to expect

The hall door will be open from around 10:30am and there’ll be someone to welcome you (and everyone ðŸ˜€) from around 10:45am.
You’ll be handed

  • an order of service – a booklet with a coloured cover
  • a newsheet
  • a copy of Pews News (which covers both St Pauls & St Nicks)
  • a hymn book

There are toilets in the entrance – the disabled one to the left, and the others just along on the right.
In the main hall you’ll find the chairs set out – we adopt different arrangements from time to time and there are no set places
The hymn numbers will be up on a noticeboard.
After the service there’s coffee and biscuits (and sometimes cake!). The kitchen hatch opens straight into the main hall – so you don’t have to go anywhere

To ask a question

During the week you can contact Liz (0118 989 1176) or Paul via the Parish office
If it’s Sunday morning just ask any of those buzzing around setting things up – they’ll be happy to help.

  • Hello

I wondered if it would be possible to secure an advert in the parish magazine for the April edition?

I hold art classes in Wokingham and am looking for ways to advertise for upcoming courses.

I have adverts ready to go if there was still time.
Do let me know the prices and sizes if possible.

    Thank you

    • We no longer publish a Parish magazine so are unable to accept adverts for it.
