The Dawn Service
The annual Easter Dawn service began with the lighting of the fire outside the door of the chuech from which Fr Richard lit the Paschall Candle. This wa carried into church followed by the choir and congrgation who lit their candles from the one light, spreading the flame across the church.
The Pachal Candle was then placed into the stand at the front in preperation for the singing of the Exaltet, just as the rising sun started creeping through the east window
Following the service everyone retired to the Parish Rooms for a very satisfying cooked breakfast prepared by the Social Team.
