#373: Nearly the Coronation

The photo above is of Croome Court in Worcestershire.

Here are the main upcoming events and other bits of news…

Thank you to everyone who helped run the Refreshments for the South Berkshire Singers’ Concert in Church last Sunday evening- it was a beautiful concert and the choir’s generosity allied to that of the audience means that we raised a little over £970 to support our three charities, which is amazing. Thank you!

As well as Services at 9.30, 10 and 11 this Sunday, we are also having an interesting hybrid service in the evening at St Paul’s at 6.15pm. The first part will be the Stations of the Resurrection- reflecting on some of the the Resurrection appearances made be Jesus in a stilling and meditative way- and then the second half will be Benediction as we pray in the presence of the Sacrament, and listen/ join in with the Choir’s plainsong. it will last about an hour, include 2 hymns and be very lovely indeed.

The Coronation Weekend is coming closer and this is the latest poster on what is going on- do tell your friends and neighbours and do come along. We are focusing everything on the Sunday, the 7th of May.
